Emma is a Digital Content Editor for Northern Ireland’s #1 and #2 commercial radio brands Cool FM and Downtown Radio.

With a degree in Journalism, Emma first started her career working in publishing, writing/editing for national Irish magazines, something she dreamed of as a child thanks to cult favourite films like The Devil Wears Prade, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and 13 Going on 30.

After Covid, Emma chose to pursue other passions - radio and music - joining the Bauer Audio NI team. Working closely with the presenters, news teams and national editorial teams, Emma helps share local stories from NI, as well as local TV/Film stories.

Career highlights include covering the Gladiator 2 premiere chatting to Paul Mescal, interviewing Mumford & Sons in Chicago, making TikTok’s with The Traitors winner Rachel Duffy and chatting with Blue Lights stars in Belfast.

Emma has worked on social campaigns like Pauloween, Paris to Banbridge Challenge for Cash for Kids, Pot Patrol, Paulo’s Car Wash and Deck the Halls, as well as much of the gig/concert coverage for Cool FM and Downtown Radio.

Fun fact: Emma is the voice behind the viral song ‘Man in Farming’.
